AHA Heartsaver CPR AED Only
This course is for anyone with limited or no medical training who needs a course completion card in first aid to meet job, regulatory or other requirements.
Heartsaver® CPR AED is a classroom, video-based, instructor-led course that teaches adult CPR and AED use, as well as how to relieve choking on an adult. This course teaches skills with AHA’s research-proven Practice-While-Watching (PWW) technique, which allows instructors to observe the students, provide feedback and guide the students’ learning of skills.
Topics covered in this course include:
- Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation and Emergency Cardiovascular Care
- Giving Breaths
- Using a Mask
- Using and AED
- Assessing and Phoning Emergency Response
How long is this course?
The HS CPR AED course is competed when the participants have mastered the course information. Typically, this takes 6-8 hours/ 1 days.
Will I receive a certificate?
Yes, you will receive a certificate that is valid for 2 years.
What are the pre-requisites?
Pre-requisites for this course include being at least 16 years old and capable to perform CPR.
Do you offer this course in any language other than English?
This course is offered in both English and Arabic.
How many students will be in the classroom?
The maximum number of students per instructor for this course is 9.
